Debonair surfer and entrepreneur, originally from Durban, South Africa; world-ranked #17 in 1981; founder of Tavarua beachwear in 1994. Price was born (1961) and raised in Durban, began surfing at age 13, and was the second-ranked surfer on the South African domestic pro tour in 1979.
