Good-looking, hot-tempered goofyfooter from Perth, Western Australia; world-ranked #12 in 1993. Bedford-Brown began surfing at age 10. At 17, just after becoming Western Australia's junior champion, he turned pro and immediately beat Cheyne Horan in the finals of the 1984 Philishave Tracer event, in Perth, in front of a cheering home crowd.
