Operation Hang Ten
Surf-themed pulp fiction series written in the late 1960s and early 1970s by former Navy man and machinist George Snyder, under the pen name Patrick Morgan, featuring the adventures of Bill Cartwright—a bourbon-drinking, skirt-chasing, tough-talking millionaire surfer turned CIA operative.
Hang Dead Hawaiian Style, the first of the 10-book Operation Hang Ten series, was published in 1969. Testing the waters a few years earlier, Snyder wrote Surfside Sex in 1966, with a cover tagline reading:...
