Quinn, Maz (1976 – )

Lean, quiet, smooth-riding regularfoot pro from Gisborne, New Zealand; the first surfer from his country to qualify for the World Championship Tour (WCT). Quinn was born (1976) in Hamilton, New Zealand, raised in Gisborne, and began surfing at age 11. Five years later he became the national juniors division champion; in 1996, 2000, 2004 and 2006 he won national titles in the men's division.
