Silver Surfer appeared on the cover of Joe Satriani's 1987 LP 

 television episodes were made in 1998. In 2007, Laurence Fishburne provided the voice in 2007's 

Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer, 

and later that year the US Postal Service issued a pair of 41-cent Silver Surfer stamps.
