Sizemore, Ron (1944 – )

Lanky blond hotdogger from Laguna Beach, California; surprise winner of the 1961 West Coast Surfing Championships. Sizemore was born (1944) in Long Beach, California, and began surfing at age 10. He jitterbugged his way through the 1961 West Coast titles, switching stance often, doing spinners, shooting the pier while riding backward, and otherwise deploying a full bag of tricks.
