Its membership includes such world famous figures as Duke Kahanamoku, Tom Blade of Redondo, Gerrard Vultee, Art Vultee of the Los Angeles Athletic Club, Clyde Swedson, Swimming Coach to the Hollywood Athletic Club; L Jarvis, R. Williams, H. Hutchinson and many other famous experts in Surf Board Riding

1.—PADDLING RACE ACROSS BALBOA CHANNEL FROM CORONA DEL MAR BEACH TO JETTY AND BACK.

2.—CANOE TILTING CONTEST.

3.—DEMONSTRATION OF LIFE SAVING BY SURF BOARDS. (Members of the Club rescued fifteen men off the Thelma when she capsized in a rough surf.)

4.—THRILLING ROUGH WATER SURF BOARD RACE FROM BELL BUOY TO CHANNEL NEAREST EAST JETTY.

Races Commence Fifteen Minutes After the First Aerial Bomb at 12:30 P. M. on the West Beach of Rocky Point, Corona del Mar. The Rough Water Surf Board Race Commences from the East Beach Following the Paddling Races.
