Sunn, Kula (Martha) (1952 – )

Lithe and graceful regularfoot surfer from Makaha, Hawaii; one of the best female competitors of the late 1960s and early '70s, and younger sister of Hawaiian surf icon Rell Sunn.

Sunn was born (1952) and raised in Makaha, the youngest of five siblings, and began surfing at age nine.
